A Place to Grow

When You’re Ready to Grow
There comes a moment, quietly or all at once, when you realize you’re not just looking for a job anymore.
You’re looking for a place where your work matters in a deeper way.
A place where children are not managed, but truly seen.
A place where learning is alive - messy, joyful, rooted in the real world.
At Verdi EcoSchool, we’ve been building something different.
Not just a school, but a living, breathing community. A School Family.
And right now, we are looking for educators who feel that pull.

We Are Hiring…
…and we are not simply filling positions.
We are searching for people. People who believe that education can be beautiful.
People who see the immense potential in every child and feel a responsibility to protect it.
People who understand that teaching is not about delivering content, but about cultivating connection.
As the only place and project-based Urban Farm School of our kind in this region, our work asks something different of educators.
It asks you to slow down.
To listen.
To get your hands dirty.
To step outside - literally and figuratively.
It asks you to grow.

For the Educators Who Know
You might be the one we’re looking for if:
You’ve felt that something is missing in traditional classrooms.
You believe children learn best through curiosity, movement, and meaningful experience.
You’re willing to spend your days outdoors, in all kinds of weather, alongside children who are discovering the world in real time.
You don’t need all the answers, but you’re committed to asking better questions.
Our educators don’t stand apart from students - they learn alongside them.
This role is not about perfection.
It’s about presence.
It’s about partnership: with children, with families, and with one another.

A Culture You Can Feel
At Verdi EcoSchool, culture is not a buzzword - it’s something we practice every day.
We help each other before being asked.
We celebrate small wins and reflect honestly on what isn’t working.
We share ideas, laughter, and sometimes spontaneous dancing.
We take care of the plants.
We take care of each other.
We are building something that requires vulnerability, collaboration, and courage.
And we are committed to doing that work together.

More Than a Role
We are currently seeking:
A Nature Immersion Co-Teacher to support and co-create joyful, outdoor learning experiences for children ages 5–8
A Math Specialist who can bring creativity, relevance, and meaning to mathematical thinking within our unique environment
These roles require skill, dedication, and heart. They ask for educators who are organized yet flexible, reflective yet action-oriented, and deeply committed to their own growth.
Because this is not a place to stay the same.

A Balm to Others
We believe schools can be places of healing.
Places where children feel safe to be themselves.
Places where adults rediscover why they chose this work in the first place.
If you are looking not just to teach - but to offer something deeply human and meaningful in a world that often feels rushed and disconnected…
There may be a place for you here.

Verdi EcoSchool is a place you come to when you are ready to grow.
If that resonates with you, we invite you to reach out, learn more, and consider joining our School Family.
Because the work matters.
And who we do it with matters just as much.
