With gratitude.

Our November Coding Intensive with Eco-Collective Partner Codecraft Lab was a big hit with our student community!

We are so thankful to the team at Codecraft Lab for opening their space to our students and giving each child the opportunity to experience the language of computers firsthand. Our school community is working to continue our partnership with Codecraft Labs in a meaningful way and created a Facebook campaign to coincide with #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving for non profit organizations. With the help of generous donors and supporters we have raised $1,065 to institute a coding program that is part of our core curriculum and we are so excited to see this program take shape at the Verdi EcoSchool.

Many, many thanks to those who have donated and continue to support our goals!

On Saturday, November 25th, parent volunteers from the Verdi EcoSchool worked at the Space Coast Art Festival to help monitor waste output at this beautiful event. We feel honored to have been a part of this incredible effort to promote the fine arts on the Space Coast. Thank you Space Coast Art Festival for supporting our school!

The Verdi EcoSchool received a very special package from artist Ed Heck: a collection of 8x8 original Take HeART canvases meant to be shared with members of the Eau Gallie Arts District community as part of the artist's Random Acts of Art movement. #RAOA asks individuals to pay forward an act of kindness; in this case the sharing of a work of art as a way to bring happiness to people far and wide. Mr. Heck's canvases were placed throughout the arts district during the Anti-Gravity Mural Project and the response was incredible. It is possible to spread joy through random acts of kindness! Thank you Ed Heck for giving us a chance to be a part of this incredible movement!
