Verdi EcoSchool invites homeschool families to join our immersive place-based and project-driven learning community. Rooted in hands-on exploration, social-emotional growth, and meaningful engagement with the natural world and community, our enrichment spaces help students thrive academically, creatively, and socially. ​

THE EXPERIENCE

 

At Verdi EcoSchool, students learn through Discovery Levels — mixed-age learning cohorts where depth of exploration and mastery replace traditional grades. Children spend 2–3 years at each level as they grow into confident, capable learners.

Each day includes:

• Morning reflection with guided journaling and social-emotional practice

• Project challenge learning experiences

• A rotating suite of enrichment courses tailored to each level

We emphasize authentic learning, collaboration, and real-world application — because school happens everywhere, not just inside four walls.

Discovery Level 1-2 - Four Spaces Available

For younger learners ready to explore big ideas through wonder and play.

• Morning reflection & community time

• Enrichment courses: Regenerative Gardening, Harvest to Table, Art

• Project focus: Entrepreneurship, Biodiversity, Sustainability

Discovery Level 3 - Two Spaces Available

For developing learners expanding skills and curiosity.

• Morning reflection & project challenges

• Enrichment courses include: Regenerative Gardening, Harvest to Table, Latin Dance, Italian

• Optional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) available for an additional cost

Discovery Level 4-6 - Four Spaces Available

For older learners tackling deeper challenges and interdisciplinary exploration.

• Morning reflection & project team experiences

• Enrichment courses include: Regenerative Gardening, Fiber Arts, Latin Dance, Italian

• Optional BJJ (additional cost)

• Project focus: Holocaust & Human Behavior + National My Impact Challenge submission

Weekly Rhythm: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday | 8:30 AM – 11:15 AM

Tuition: $250 Deposit + $450 per month
(Materials fee not included)
