Urban Gardening. This class meets on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:30 - 3:20pm. Choose one day per week or 3 days per week. Cost $10 per class.

About the Event
Students will learn concepts of sustainability, ecological balance, how to prepare soil, select seeds and plants, and even how to harvest their own vegetables, herbs, and different flowers. Students will explore the significance and value of the composter, plant hardiness and planting zones, plant propagation, proper care of seedlings, and how to care for newly transplanted additions to the garden.
This course meets at the Verdi EcoSchool Teaching Farm/ EGAD Community Garden. You may enter through the white fence (double gates) adjacent to Eau Gallie Bandshell Park. Please do not enter through the yoga studio.
Cost: $10 per class
