The summer extension program at the Verdi EcoSchool offers new opportunities for children ages 4 and up to have fun, explore, engage in hands on learning and understand the importance of becoming respectful and responsible stewards of our natural environment.

About the Event
Week 1: Science of the Indian River Lagoon
Participants have the opportunity to become marine biologists as they explore the life of our local treasure - the Indian RIver Lagoon. They spend the majority of their day out on the water, paddling and participating in hands-on activities and experiments. Students are led by Ms. Montana, our science specialist, in learning experiences ranging from taking water samples to studying our biodiverse local marine communities.
