We will learn how to grow different types of transplants for the community garden and the school's s Farm Stand. Topics covered will include storing and handling seeds, how to follow and make recommendations on a transplant schedule, how to mix media, fill and seed trays, and most importantly how to water transplants at different stages of development. Additionally, we will scout for pests and disease, learn how to care, and maintain our tools and supplies for future reuse.
