Picture This!
Instructor: Barbie Thoeming
Reading and writing make more sense when they are done together, and adding art is like icing on the cake. In this class, students will explore literacy through storytelling, writing, and drawing. Students will be provided with step by step art instruction and encouraged to use their creativity to draw a picture representation of the story of the day. Reading and art instruction will be complemented by a writing lesson to enhance comprehension and build literacy skills.
