About the Event
The course is designed to build a strong foundation in understanding edible and medicinal herbs safe for children. Students will learn to identify safe and toxic herbs, know their functions in the garden and their role for a healthy ecosystem on our planet. We will learn how to grow, harvest, dry, and utilize herbs in cooking and naturally treating common ailments from sunburns to mosquito bites. For ages 8-10.
