Herbalism 11-14 year olds

Students will learn the fundamental principles and basics of herbalism including the identification and growing of safe herbs. We will focus on the functions of herbs in the garden, their role in a healthy ecosystem, and how they can help support our own health. The activities will include creating teas, balms, tinctures, lotions, and more while practicing skills in unit conversions, ratios, proportions, and chemical reactions.

Students will meet at the Verdi EcoSchool Teaching Farm (entrance through the double gates adjacent to Eau Gallie Bandshell Park). Please do not enter through the yoga studio.
