This course will get our students in the dirt, engaging them in hands-on activities, lessons, games, projects, and play that bring them closer to the natural world around them. Depending on student interest and experience, we will be digging into what plants and animals need to survive, plant structures, plant care, tool safety, life cycles, seasons, plant and animal classifications, and more. This course is adaptable to fit the needs of new gardeners as well as those who are more experienced.
