One of the joys of living in Florida is the opportunity to experience unique plants year round! This course equips students with the tools needed to identify common wildflowers, grasses, shrubs, succulents, trees, palms, and edibles. Students will also learn the difference between natives and invasives, angiosperms and gymnosperms, and annuals and perennials. Activities include creating dichotomous keys, learning how preserve specimens, flower dissections, and scientific experiments.
