Community Art and Nature Exchange - Nature Journaling

In this workshop you will create a small nature journal and learn a variety of techniques for documenting the beauty, wonder, and data waiting to be discovered in the world around you. If you wish, you are also welcome to work in a journal of your own. Prior to the workshop we encourage you to spend time foraging for natural materials to bring with you for exploring in your nature journals. You are also welcome to forage for materials on the Verdi EcoSchool campus on the day of the workshop, and we will provide additional drawing and painting media for working in your journals. You are welcome to take your nature journals home with you on the day of the workshop.
