About the Event

In this workshop you will learn how to create a cyanotype emulsion, apply the emulsion to a substrate (paper, cloth, wood, etc.), create a composition with natural materials, use sunlight to expose the prints, and use water to develop the prints. Prior to the workshop we encourage you to spend time foraging for natural materials to bring with you for printing. You are also welcome to forage for plants to print on the Verdi EcoSchool campus on the day of the workshop. You will be able to take your prints home with you on the day of the workshop.
