ART & NATURE STUDIES PART 2

Joining nature, art and science together, participants will learn about patterns and shapes in nature while exploring the building blocks of life: cells. This exploration promotes discovery, creativity, as well as problem-solving, and introduces the importance of learning in place. This learning experience encourages students to be able to think deeply, question phenomena, and make hypotheses. Combined with open-ended exploration these experiences support the development of cognitive, social-emotional, and multisensory skills.

PLANT PROPAGATION & SOIL SCIENCE PART 2

In this course students will practice a variety of propagation techniques such as grafting, layering, air layering, stem cuttings, bare root transplant, and seed starting alongside gaining a deeper understanding of the rhizosphere (soil-root interface) and how we can interact with its delicate biology to maintain and proliferate plant health.

Children must bring their own lunch, snacks and refillable water bottle
