Join us for fun summer playdates where children and families can enjoy a storytime, harvest tea experience, snack in the garden, art and water play in our outdoor nature space.

About the Event
Children and families will enjoy a morning of stories, garden exploration, art and water play in our outdoor nature space. Parent or guardian must stay with child throughout experience, families should bring a snack!
The rhythm of the day- Summer Splash Play Dates.
Friday's and Saturday’s 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
Will be meeting at the school’s front gate.
The gate will open at 9 a.m.
Gather & Play while families arrive.
9:15 -The campus safe keeper/educator will guide children and their parents/guardian around on campus to show bathrooms and drinking water stations.
9:20- Circle & Storytime.
9:35- Children will explore the garden and begin to harvest their leaves, flowers, and herbs and begin the process of sun tea. While in the garden children will have the opportunity to explore art stations, cutting/trimming stations, and seed planting stations. There will be an ice station for play or to cool down as well as a safe space (tent) in the garden if needed. Additionally, there will be a water station in the garden so children can wash hands before teatime and snack.
9:55- Leave the garden and gather at the next station- located under the mango tree; directly behind the garden.
10:00 to 10:15- At this time children can enjoy their sun tea snack from home.
10:20- Water/splash station. During water play – the sprinkler station will be turned on and children can run wild and free and explore. An art station will be provided at the log circle for children that wish to participate in art.
11:00- Water play ends. Parents will take their children to assigned areas for changing and meet back to gather around under the tree with the logs to have closing story time.
11:15- dismissal through the front gate.
Just a few important reminders:
- Bring water play attire
- Bring refillable drinking cup
- Bring your own snack.
Parents/guardians must always remain on campus. However, during play time parents are encouraged to socialize with other parents while children play and learn.
