About the Event
Summer extension at Verdi EcoSchool is an immersive experience for children who want to learn more about their community. Students spend time outdoors, in nature and participate in activities like: harvesting and planting in our teaching gardens, learning about sustainable fishing and kayaking in the incredible estuary that is the Indian River Lagoon, cooking/preparing nutritious farm to table meals, creating art, making music and learning the importance of responsible environmental stewardship.
